Overview
Customers already visit their account pages to check orders. Okendo's Reviews customer account extensions put their pending reviews, earned rewards and a site review prompt there too, so you collect more reviews and drive more reward redemptions from customers who are already engaged.
Before you begin
⚠️ This article discusses extensions in the context of customer accounts. If you would like to customize legacy (classic) accounts, please speak to our support teams on how to use customer metafields to do this.
Customer account extensions work on all Shopify plans except Starter. You also need to use Shopify's customer accounts, not legacy customer accounts.

Reviews Page (full page extension)
Display review status, pending orders to review and site reviews.
Products to review
This section in the dedicated reviews customer account page extension shows customers which products they have pending review requests for and whether a reward is available for each item to be reviewed.
⚠️ Products will only show under Products to Review after a review request has been sent to the customer, based on your sequence settings.
Reviewed products
This section in the dedicated reviews customer account page extension shows customers which products they have left reviews for and any reward details and status.
It will show coupon codes, descriptions and the status of those coupons (valid, expired, used).
For merchants that have Loyalty enabled, it will show the points awarded for the total order and any expiry related to those points.
Site reviews
The site review banner can be configured to show in both the Customer Reviews and Reviews Page app blocks respectively, allowing you to collect site reviews directly from customer accounts. Simply toggle the banner on using the settings side panel for each block.
Add Reviews customer account extensions
To add Reviews customer account extensions, follow these steps:
In Shopify Admin, go to Sales Channels > Online Store and select Customize against your store theme.
In the menu at the top of the page, select Checkout and customer account.
Select the Apps icon in the left hand pane and then All. You should see the extension called Okendo Reviews Page.
Select the plus symbol and then select the section in customer accounts. Repeat this process for each extension you would like to add.
⚠️ If you are adding the Okendo Reviews Page for the first time, Okendo will ask you to add the Rewards Page to the navigation menu within customer accounts. Simply follow the prompts to complete this task.
Select Save and exit the Shopify theme customizer.
Remove the Okendo Reviews Page extension
To remove the Okendo Reviews Page extension:
Navigate to Shopify Admin and in the left hand panel select Sales Channels and select Online Store.
Select Customize against your store theme.
In the menu at the top of the page, select Checkout and customer account.
Go back to the same menu and select the appropriate section:
To access the Okendo Reviews Page full page extension, select the Okendo Reviews Page.
Select the ellipsis next to the extension name and then Remove. This will remove the extension from the section. Repeat this process for all extensions you wish to remove.
Select Save and exit the Shopify theme customizer.
FAQs & Troubleshooting
Q: Can the Okendo customer account extensions be styled?
A: Okendo customer account extensions inherit styles from the checkout and customer accounts theme. Outside of this, they can't be individually styled in Okendo Reviews.
Q: Can Reviews customer account extensions be moved to other sections?
A: Default sections for each Reviews customer account extension are encoded within the extensions themselves. However, you can move extensions to other locations within the default section.
Q: If I have already set up Loyalty review extensions, can I use these?
A: Yes. The Customer Reviews and Ratings extensions will continue to work, and you can configure the new Reviews Page and Write a Review Menu Item as well.
Q: Can customer account extensions be translated?
A: Yes. Okendo's translation engine supports account extensions. However, due to a Shopify file size limit, these languages aren't supported yet:
