In OKRs for Jira, we care about the security of your data and we constantly improve our practices to make sure your data is protected according to the best standards.

Data storage

What data do we store?

  • OKR names and updates

  • KR value

  • custom periods' names and their date range

  • the ID of issues connected to the KRs

  • user IDs

What we don’t store:

  • user names

  • emails

  • names of connected issues and other issue data

Where do we store your data?

Your data is stored in our Mongo DB database which can be accessed only by our lead engineers.

Why do we store your data in our database?

We need to store your data in our database because Jira doesn’t have a system for storing 3rd party application data that would serve our use case.

Data needs to be stored in order to be displayed, used for calculations, and restored if needed.
