How to Pay Team Members in olooa
Step 1: Ensure Team Members Have Stripe Connect Set Up
Before you can pay team members, they need to have their Stripe Connect account set up to receive payments. This can be done in the Payment tab within olooa.
Team members can navigate to the Payment tab from their account settings and follow the prompts to set up their Stripe Connect account.
Without this setup, payments cannot be processed, so it’s important to ensure that this step is completed before work begins.
Step 2: Pay Team Members via Two Methods
There are two places in olooa where you can initiate payments for your team members:
From the Payment Section in olooa
Navigate to the Payment section from the main dashboard. This section allows you to manage all payments across multiple projects in one centralized location.
Here, you can select the "pay" button, select who you want to pay, enter the payment amount, and confirm the payment.
From Within a Project
You can also pay team members directly within the project they are working on.
To do this, open the project and click on the $ icon located in the top right of the project pop up. This will bring up a pop-up window where you can initiate the payment.
This method is useful if you want to pay team members immediately after reviewing and approving their work without navigating to the main Payment section.
Step 3: Set Payment Amount and Process Payment
Review Submitted Work
Before making a payment, ensure that all submitted work has been reviewed and approved.
Enter Payment Details
Once work is approved, enter the agreed-upon payment amount.
Confirm Payment
After entering the payment amount, confirm the transaction. Payments are processed securely through Stripe Connect, ensuring that team members receive their compensation safely and promptly.
Updating Payment Methods
In olooa, updating your payment methods is quick and easy, allowing you to stay on top of managing your payments seamlessly. Whether you need to add a new card or replace an existing one, you can do this directly through the Payment tab within your account.
Here’s how you can update your payment method:
Go to the Payment Tab
From your dashboard, navigate to the Payment tab.
Access Payment Methods
Within the Payment tab, you’ll see a section labeled Payment Methods. This is where all your current payment information is stored.
Add a New Card
Click Add a Card to input your new card details. Make sure to fill out all the required fields (card number, expiration date, etc.).
After entering the information, confirm your new payment method to finalize the update.
Your new payment method will now be saved and ready for use on future transactions within olooa.
