In olooa, when a team member completes a task, the channel owner must also review and mark the task as completed to confirm the work is done. This step ensures that the task is fully approved before any payment is processed. Once the task is marked as completed by the channel owner, a pop-up will appear to confirm the payment amount, allowing for a seamless payment process.

In this article, we’ll guide you through how to approve completed tasks and process payments for team members.

How to Pay Team Members for Completing Tasks

  1. Team Member Marks Task as Completed

    • After the assigned team member completes the task, they will mark it as Completed in their Tasks tab. However, the task isn’t fully finalized until the channel owner reviews and approves it.

  2. Channel Owner Reviews the Task

    • As the channel owner, you will need to go to the Tasks tab and review the completed task. Check the details and ensure everything is done as expected.

  3. Mark Task as Completed

    • Once you've reviewed the work and are satisfied, mark the task as Completed in the Tasks tab. This will trigger the next step in the process, which is confirming the payment.

  4. Payment Confirmation Pop-Up

    • After marking the task as completed, a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm the payment amount for the team member. The amount will either be the pre-set payment amount (if it was specified when creating the task) or you can enter a custom amount at this stage.

  5. Confirm and Process the Payment

    • Once the payment amount is confirmed, click Confirm to process the payment. The payment will then be initiated through olooa’s integrated payment system, and the team member will receive their compensation.
