Setting up the translations in Reveal

Step 1

Log into your Reveal/Pulse account and go to Survey Builder > Translations > Press the + button and add your desired languages

Step 2

After you add a language, a new column will appear where you can add your translated texts.

Step 3

In the Designer tab, select the default language you want for your survey.

Don't forget to press Save after you do any modifications!

Step 4

In the Preview tab, test the survey and preview it in all added languages.

Step 5

When you preview the survey in the browser, you will notice the URL for the default language will stay the same.

However, if you want to change the language of the survey on the live preview, you have to add &locale=[language code].

For the example above in Spanish, you can see added at the end of the URL &locale=es

Sending Surveys in Each Customer’s Native Language in Klaviyo

To send emails in multiple languages via Klaviyo you need to create the NPS email template via a Flow (not via a Campaign). See here instructions on how to create the default flow.

Step 1

Go to your Klaviyo Flow, and add a Conditional Split after the Flow Trigger.

In this example, there is only one delivery country that needs to receive a translated survey. All deliveries to other countries will receive the default English survey.

Feel free to edit the contents of the email in the Yes branch as well!

Step 2

Edit the email template as follows:

  • If the template is editable via HTML, add the &locale=[language code] to the links as shown below

  • If the template is editable from the template add the &locale=[language code] to the links from the editor as shown below

Great News!

With the ability to add multiple languages to the survey editor, you can now collect responses from customers in their preferred language. Our NLP feature seamlessly processes feedback in any language, ensuring accurate sentiment analysis. Plus, NPS Alerts will trigger as usual, regardless of the language of the response, so you never miss important insights!

Now, all you need to do is turn on the NPS invite sending and you're done! Feel free to reach out to us if you get stuck at any step.
