What is a Partial Response
A Partial Response is registered in the case when a customer provides just an NPS score and does not answer to the follow-up question(s).
Activating Partial Response Alerts
Partial response alerts can now be activated through a new toggle, Send Partial Response Alerts, available on the alert card.
Configuring the Delay
A configurable delay is available at the store level. This delay is designed to prevent duplicate alerts for the same response.
The Need for Delay
The delay is necessary because, in the response flow, once the client selects a score, a partial response alert can be sent immediately.
However, it takes a few minutes for the client to complete all the questions and submit their responses. Only then can a complete response alert be sent.
Setting the Delay
We set a delay period during which the partial alert waits for the complete responses to arrive, ensuring that only the complete alert is sent.
If the complete response is received before the configurable delay period ends and a complete response alert is sent, the partial alert will not be sent.
Behavior During the Configurable Interval
Within this configurable interval, if the client selects different scores multiple times, the alert will be sent with the last selected score.
New Attribute in Klaviyo Alerts
A new attribute, Survey Response Type, has been added to Klaviyo alerts. This attribute can have the value "full" or "partial".
