Adding Comments to Tickets

Explains the multiple ways comments can be added to tickets.

1. Add a comment to the entire ticket:

  • Click on the "Comments" tab.

  • Click on Add Comment.

Please Note: In order to enter comments in this section, an employee number is required.

  • Click on the Reports drop down in order to select where the comments will be displayed.

  • Enter comments in the "Comment" box.

  • Enter a URL to a comment (when applicable.)

  • When finished, click "Save".

2. Add a comment on a specific line item:

  • Click on the "Comments" tab inside of the Parts & Labor section.

  • Click on the item's Actions Menu (...) to add a new comment or edit an existing comment.

  • Add comments in the Comments box

  • To save new comments or editions, click the Green Check Mark.
