Click "Appointments".
Click on the desired Appointment/Customer.
Click "Edit".
Click the "SMS" Icon.
Enter a message to send to the customer.
For Example: Your car is ready.
To avoid manually adding messages, set up a canned text message to display on the drop down list (canned messages are setup in Configuration).
Click "Send" to send the message.
Click the Phone Icon in the top right to view sent and received SMS.
