How to create a Labor Matrix

Please Note: The Labor Matrix/Level on the Vehicle profile will be applied first. If there is no vehicle Labor Matrix/Level set, the system will use the Customer profile Labor Matrix/Level. If there is no Customer Labor Matrix/Level, the system will use the Ticket Labor Matrix/Level. If no Matrix/Level is set, it will use the Shop Labor Rate.

To edit and configure Labor Matrices:

  • Click on "Configuration".

  • Click on the "Labor Levels & Matrices" tile.

To add a new Labor Matrix:

  • Click the "Add Labor Matrix" button.

To edit the % markup values for an existing Matrix:

  • Click on the Actions Menu (...) of the target Matrix.

  • Click "Edit Labor Matrix".

  • Edit the "End Values" per tier as needed.

  • Edit the "Markup %" per tier as needed.

  • Click the "Save" button when finished.

To remove tiers:

  • Click the target tier's Trash Can icon.

  • Click the "Save" button when finished.

To add additional tiers:

  • Click the "Add Tier" button at the bottom of the page.

  • Click the "Save" button when finished.

To Change the Name or Status of a Labor Matrix:

  • Click on the Actions Menu (...) of the target Matrix.

  • Click "Edit".

  • Edit the Matrix "Name" as needed.

  • Click the "Save" button when finished.

To activate a Matrix:

  • Click the Active toggle switch. (Green is Activated.)

  • Click the Green Check Mark to save.

To make a Matrix the Default:

  • Click the Default toggle switch of an Active Matrix. (Green is Activated.)

  • Click the Green Check Mark to save.

How to link your Matrices to Labor Levels and configure Labor Levels:

  • Switch to the Labor Level page by clicking "LABOR LEVELS" at the top

To add a new Labor Level:

  • Click the "Add Labor Level" button.

To edit an existing Labor Level:

  • Click the Actions Menu "..." and select "Edit".

To link your Labor Matrix to a Labor Level:

  • Click on the dropdown box under the "Default Matrix" column and select one of the Matrices listed.

To set a Flat Rate that differs from your Labor Rate:

  • Enter your Rate under the "Rate" column

Note: If you have linked a Default Matrix, you cannot set a Rate.

To activate a Level:

  • Click the Active toggle switch. (Green is Activated.)

To make a Level the Default:

  • Click the Default toggle switch of an Active Level. (Green is Activated.)

  • Click the Green Check Mark to save.
