This article explains the importance of using the Sublet from the parts/labor catalog to categorize sublet work correctly and capture sublet work for reporting.

Sublet is any work that is done outside of your location that you do not provide. There is a default Sublet opcode in the parts/labor catalog that is set up to be correctly itemized on tickets and for reporting.

When you have Sublet work that needs to be added to a ticket you got to the Part # field and then type Sublet in the field and press enter, this will add the Sublet line to your ticket.

Once the Sublet line is added to your ticket you will have an editable field allowing you to describe what the sublet work was, any parts or labor amount. (Towing, detail, paint, etc.)

Note: It is important that you use the sublet line to capture the sublet work to ensure that when running any reports regarding sublet it will have any parts and labor amount associated with the sublet work to show.

You will also be able to go to the Vendors tab and capture the supplier, invoice, and payment method for that sublet work, when needed.

Any sublet work captured in the Fees/Coupon section will not show on any reports and is just itemized as sublet.
