The following Quality Standards are to be used when considering a purchase of our keyboards/keyboard kits. We do many rounds of prototyping for all of our designs, to catch as many problems as possible before the production run. However. it is not always possible for every inch of a product to be perfect. We want you to know what to expect when you purchase our boards.

CNC Machined Keyboard Kits

You can expect the following unless your kit is labeled as A- Stock or B Stock.

External

Any areas that can be seen once the board is fully built (including keycaps) are considered external. There should be no scratches or marks on the outside of the case when it is fully built (including the bottom).

Internal

Any areas covered once the board is fully built (including keycaps) are considered internal. While we strive for all parts to be top notch quality, there may be scratches, machine marks, hook marks from anodizing, etc on the internal areas of the board. The plate is also considered internal when it comes to aesthetic scratches or marks because it is covered after keycaps are installed.

Functionality

All parts of your keyboard should function. No functional defects should be present on any part of your keyboard/keyboard kit.

A- Stock CNC Machined Keyboard Kits

May show small exterior finishing defects including but not limited to scratches, dings, anodizing/sandblasting inconsistencies, and mild oxidation. Functionality will not be affected.

B Stock CNC Machined Keyboard Kits

(Compared to A- Stock) May show larger and more visible finishing defects including but not limited to scratches, dings, anodizing/sandblasting inconsistencies, and more mild oxidation. There may be stripped threads, but not enough where the board will not be able to be screwed together. Functionality will not be affected.
