👟Walkthrough: Available Cart Modes
By default, all organizations are set to Single Production mode.
Single Performance
Patrons may only purchase tickets for one performance at a time.
This means:
A patron cannot add both Friday and Saturday performances of Wizard of Oz to the same cart.
A patron also cannot add performances from different productions, such as Wizard of Oz and Aladdin, into one order.
Best for organizations that want the strictest cart limitations.
Single Production (Default)
Patrons may add multiple performances from the same production into a single cart.
This means:
A patron can purchase Friday and Saturday performances of Wizard of Oz together.
A patron cannot combine performances from Wizard of Oz and Aladdin in the same transaction.
This option provides flexibility for repeat attendance while keeping orders limited to a single production.
Multicarting
Patrons may add performances from multiple productions into the same cart.
This means:
A patron can purchase Friday and Saturday performances of Wizard of Oz
AND add a Sunday performance of Aladdin
All within a single checkout experience.
This is the most flexible cart configuration available.
Payment Timing Considerations
Check & ACH Customers
For organizations using Check or ACH payouts with Single Production mode:
Payments are held until all performances included in the order have completed
This helps protect against future cancellations or partial refunds
For shorter runs (such as weekend-only productions), this delay is typically minimal or unnoticeable.
Organizations with longer-running productions should be aware that payouts for orders containing multiple performances may be delayed until the final performance date has passed.
OTS Payments Customers
There is no change to payout timing for organizations using OTS Payments.
Payouts will continue to process on the normal daily schedule regardless of cart mode configuration, including multicarting.
