Here are some reasons why you may need to adjust your General Admission Capacity:
Venue layout changes β If your setup changes due to staging, equipment, or accessibility needs, you may need to increase or decrease available seating.
High or low ticket demand β You might want to expand capacity for popular performances or limit it for smaller, more intimate events.
Performance reschedules or relocations β If a show is moved to a different venue or time, adjusting capacity helps match the new setup.
Correct setup errors β If the original capacity was entered incorrectly, updating it ensures accurate ticket availability and reporting.
Noteworthy: Once a reserved show is published you cannot add or remove seats. If you do need to remove seats from a reserved show, you can place holds on the seats rendering them unpurchasable. If you need to add additional seats to a reserved show, you can only do so by adding in General Admission seats.
