You may need to resize images in your design or Add-Ons tabs. Check out the pixel sizes below.

How to resize on a Mac:

In the Preview app on your Mac, click the Show Markup Toolbar button (if the Markup toolbar isn’t showing), then click the Adjust Size button .

Enter new values for width and height, or click the “Fit into” pop-up menu and choose a size.

  • Resize the image by a percentage: Choose “percent” from the pop-up menu next to the Width and Height fields, then enter the percentage in those fields.

  • Force the image to keep its original proportions: Select “Scale proportionally.” If you change either the width or height, the other value changes to maintain the proportions. If you choose a size from the “Fit into” pop-up menu, the image’s width or height may be smaller than the chosen size to maintain the proportions.

How to resize on a PC:

Find and launch MS Paint. It’s pre-installed on all Windows OS versions. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Paint or type Paint in the Start search bar. Add your image by drag/dropping or click Menu > Open (Ctrl+O). Click the Resize button.

Change the picture size by percentage or set the desired size in pixels. Don’t forget to check Maintain aspect ratio. Otherwise, your image will be stretched.

Click OK to save your picture.

How to resize an image in Windows 10 Photos:

Here are the step-by-step instructions to resize an image in Photos:

Open the image you want to resize and right-click on it. Click on the 3 horizontal dots in the top right corner, then ‘Resize’.

A pop-up will appear and you should choose whichever size option is best for your purposes by clicking on the circle next to it (S-Small / M-Medium / L-Large / C-Custom*).

If you type in the new dimensions, ticking the ‘Maintain aspect ratio’ box means you only need to enter a number into either ‘Width’ or ‘Height’ and the app will automatically calculate the other dimension so that the image is the same proportions as the original, only larger or smaller. Then click ‘Save resized copy’.
