Closed captions can be added to a VOD using a .VTT file. This is basically a text file formatted to be used for closed captions.
Please note: This file needs to be very specifically formatted. OTS will upload the .VTT file for you but will not be able to check for accuracy. Once you're completed your .VTT file, please email it to Customersupport@onthestage.com, preferably at least 24hr before your VOD goes live.
You can update your file if necessary and resend it to Customer Support.
Patrons can click on the CC button on the bottom of the video to enable/disable captions. ips.
