To create a new template just click the orange button at the bottom of the section to open the template editor.
Name & Description: First you give your template a name and optionally a description, which will be displayed in the overview.
Sender: In the next step, you select an entry under the senders, which should be assigned to this e-mail template by default. The name stored there will then also be displayed to the candidates as the sender in the email they receive. Before you send a message to the candidates, you can always use a different sender.
Email's subject: Here you define which email subject should be displayed to the applicants.
Variables: Before sending an email, you have the option to access various variables that retrieve the corresponding data from our system and then integrate it into the message text. This is especially convenient for mass emails (note: possible in Manager and Team Edition).
{!greetings}: Creates an applicant salutation, e.g. "Dear Ms. sample name" or "Dear Mr. sample name".
{!salutation}: Adds only the chosen salutation of the applicant, i.e. "woman" or "man".
{!firstName}: Stores the first name of the applicant.
{!lastName}: Gets the last name of the applicant.
{!companyName}: Maps the company name that was stored in the Company Data section.
{!companyAddress}: Generates information regarding the company address.
{!positionName}: Specifies the title of the call.
{!talentPoolInvitationLink}: Creates an invitation link to the talent pool, which is associated with a specific application and therefore automatically transfers the candidates to the talent pool by accepting the request.
{!appointmentInfo}: Generates a text field that contains all the important information regarding an interview appointment, as well as generates two buttons that both applicants and scheduled interviewers can use to accept or decline. This function can only be used if the scheduled message is sent as part of the applicant invitation.
{!signature}: Retrieves the sender data that was stored in the corresponding section and creates a signature.
Text field: In the text field you can formulate and format your mail.
Under "Preview" you can always see how your template currently looks. In the subject and text fields, you can refer to our variables, which will be automatically replaced with specific information.
