How do I check the current status of my onboarding?

The status can be checked on the main dashboard of the project in the "Status" column.

What does the "In Development" status mean?

This status indicates that the onboarding is in the creation or editing phase. You can customize, add screens, and establish connections at this stage.

Is the current version of the onboarding published in production once it has become complete?

Please note that such an action is not an automatic one and should be taken manually only at your discretion. Meanwhile, the current onboarding can be published in production right after it has been added to QA first.

Why do I need to publish the onboarding to QA?

It is an embedded step for your visual constructor to be tested and verified for bugs/errors/mistakes properly before making it visible to your customers in production. Please note this step cannot be omitted. This action is obligatory if you want to publish the onboarding to the Production

How do I move my onboarding to the "Ready for QA" status?

Click "Publish To QA" on the onboarding dashboard. Before doing so, ensure your onboarding has a designated first screen, uninterrupted connections between screens, and is compatible with various iPhone models.

Can the onboarding version be edited after it has been published to QA?

No, it cannot be altered or changed after its publishing to QA. Please note that you may always clone the needed onboarding and proceed with new settings or alterations there.

What happens when I click on the "Publish to QA" button?

A confirmation pop-up appears asking if you want to publish this version to QA. You can either proceed with the action by clicking "Yes" or cancel it by opting for "No," however, please remember the onboarding becomes ready for testing without any possible changes in the current version afterward. To make alterations, you should clone the needed onboarding and proceed with the required settings further.

Can I make changes to an onboarding in the "Ready for QA" status?

No, you cannot make changes to an onboarding once it's published to QA. To make alterations, clone the onboarding and make the necessary adjustments.

Are there any templates available on the right panel when I click on the onboarding published to QA?

No, there will be no templates displayed on the right panel when you click on the onboarding that has been published to QA. The only option to add changes to the current version is to clone it.

What can I do with screens in the onboarding that has already been published to QA?

You may only preview screens by clicking on the needed one. Please note that there will be no settings available on the right panel apart from the language list where you can select the content language for preview.

What is the process for publishing my onboarding to Production?

After testing in QA, click "Publish to PROD" to release the onboarding. A confirmation pop-up will appear, where you can approve the action.

Can I edit or delete an onboarding once it is "Released on Production"?

No, once published to production, the onboarding can neither be edited nor deleted. To update, you need to clone it and publish the new version.

What do I need the "Clone the onboarding" option for if I may add new onboardings instead?

New onboarding is needed if you create everything anew within a project while a cloned onboarding will allow you to apply certain adjustments/corrections/editing within the made template and publish it as a new version of your app. The already published onboarding cannot be edited since it should be cloned first if you need to make changes.

What happens when I try to publish 2 onboardings to QA?

Only 1 onboarding can be added to QA. Once one becomes published the previous one moves back into the Development state

What happens when I try to publish 2 onboardings to PROD with the different build versions?

Only 1 onboarding can be added to Production.

What happens to the old onboarding when I publish a new one to production?

Publishing a new onboarding automatically changes the status of the old one to "Removed from Production," facilitating a smooth transition.

Yes, you can publish to QA or to production again onboarding that has been removed from production

Is it possible to preview my onboarding before publishing it?

Yes, you can preview the entire onboarding in the "Edit flow" screen. For iOS, you can also use the Onboarding Online app in the AppStore to view it.


What does the 'Unlock full access' message mean when I try to publish to QA?

This message typically indicates that your current subscription may be inactive, expired, or doesn't support the publishing functionality. To check your subscription details, go to the main dashboard and select the 'Project Overview' option. Subscriptions like Basic, iOS, and Enterprise usually include publishing options. If your subscription is active and you still encounter this issue, it's best to contact our Support Team for further assistance.

What should I do if I receive a message stating the First screen is missing when I try to publish?

If this message appears, it means your onboarding sequence is missing a designated first screen. The system requires a starting point to begin the onboarding process. To resolve this, follow the instructions provided in the 'Read more' section of the pop-up to add a First screen to your onboarding sequence. This step is crucial for the system to correctly initiate and navigate through your onboarding flow.
