When adding a screen template to onboarding, the system assigns standard names like screen1, screen2, etc., but you can customize these names if needed.

Where the Screen Name is Displayed:

  • Adding Conditions: When adding conditions in the list of screens, the name of the screen is visible.

  • Top Panel: When you click on a screen in onboarding, its name appears in the top panel.

  • Editing Mode: By clicking the pencil icon in the top panel. The screen name will be displayed in the upper left corner.

Why Screen Names are Needed:

Screen names serve as identifiers, simplifying organization, navigation, and setting conditions within your onboarding.

End-users of your iOS and Web2App onboarding will not see the screen names. These names are solely for your convenience in managing the screens.

How to Change the Screen Name:

Click the pencil icon next to the screen name in the upper left corner of the editing screen.

Enter the new screen name in the "Change Screen Name" window.

After entering the new name, click "Save" to confirm the change.

Click "Save and Close" to apply the new name and exit the editing mode.

Note on Uniqueness of Screen Names:

Each screen in your onboarding should have a unique name. If you try to assign a name that is already in use, you will receive an error message. Unique names help avoid confusion and simplify the process of linking conditions and actions to specific screens.

By carefully naming and managing your screens, you can significantly simplify the onboarding setup process, making it more efficient and easier to navigate for everyone involved in the project.
