To receive instant job offers, a driver has to be on shift. To start a shift, a driver, who is signed into the app profile, has to open the app and switch the toggle “ONLINE” at the bottom of the main screen. The colour of the "ONLINE" indicator corresponds to your primary brand colour.
At the end of a shift, a driver has to switch the toggle into OFFLINE mode. This will exclude the driver from the pool of Active drivers, who are eligible for new offers.
If a company has a big influx of service requests, a driver can be swamped with incoming job offers: green and yellow (bid) cards, which keep coming continuously, not allowing the driver to “take a break”.
When a driver receives a new offer, the “ONLINE-OFFLINE” toggle is not available on the main screen of the driver app.
If a driver needs to go offline while he has a new job offer, he should tap on the “Go offline” hand icon in the top left corner of the main screen.
Once a driver taps on the “Go offline” hand icon, he will have to confirm his action by selecting “Go offline”.
Once the driver taps on the “Go offline” box, his app profile will be switched to offline mode, and all the incoming job offers will be autorejected.
Mind that all the job offers rejected within the “Go offline” selection are counted into the total rejected offers that affect a driver’s Karma within the Intelligent queue algorithm.
“Go offline” hand icon is only available on the main driver app screen with active instant job offers. It is not available:
1. On the main driver app screen without active instant job offers
2. During an Active order in the driver app.
3. On Screen overlay
