Trip cost display in driver app

A company owner may set custom rules for trip cost display to drivers on any service.

This helps to minimize non-acceptance of low cost trips by drivers as well as cancellations on already accepted trips. 

To set custom “cost display” rules for drivers, proceed to tab “Company management” of My Hub > access tab “Services” > open the service you need > scroll down “General settings” tab > navigate to "Display cost in driver app".


There are 4 options in “Display cost in driver app" drop down-list:

Always
When trip started
At the end of the trip

For manual payments only

By default trips cost display is set at “When trip started”.

1. Always

This means that drivers will be shown trip cost before accepting it and all the way through the order.

However, it will work this way only on condition that drop-off address for instant orders is shown in driver app.

2. When trip started

If this option is selected trip cost is shown to drivers once the trip is in status “Started”.

3. At the end of trip

If this option is set drivers are shown cost at the end of the trip at Total cost confirmation stage.

4. For manual payments only

If “for manual payments only” option is selected and the order is on card/third-party/wallet/mobile money/Apple pay/corporate account payment method, the trip total is hidden from the driver on the new offer screen. The trip cost is shown to the driver in Order details.

If “for manual payments only ” option is selected and the order is on cash/terminal payment method, the trip total is hidden from the driver on the new offer screen. The trip cost is shown to the driver on the "Payment confirmation screen" and in Order details.
