You can set a Custom value for "shared code" coupon codes within Referrals and Coupon programs. Custom shared code can be defined for every new batch of coupon codes added to a coupon-based promo:

You can give your coupons any name to target:
1. Specific audience (Students)
2. Social Event (Charity fair)
3. Holiday (Christmas)
Major rules:
· custom code values can be set for “Shared code” only.
· for “Personal codes” the system generates multiple codes in a random way.
· secondary coupon codes within Referral programs can not be custom-named as they are auto generated as well.
· every coupon code in our system is unique and remains exclusive to/referral the brand it is created for. This means that if a company of a brand creates a coupon campaign with a custom code (e.g CHRISTMAS) one can not create the same coupon code in any campaign of this company or any company in any brand.
Only once the coupon program with this code has expired/is terminated one can reuse this code.
Let’s set a sample Coupon program with a custom coupon code value:
Access My Hub, go to tab Promotions (mind to activate the service in Applications and Services tab), select Coupon programs, press ADD and fill in the data on your new program:
Step 1 - Program settings
1. Program name
2. Discount type (fixed or dynamic)
3. Orders per coupon - number of orders that can be discounted with one coupon created under the program
4. Expiration date
5. Multiple coupon codes per customer - decide whether your customers will be allowed to add more than one coupon code from this program
6. Press NEXT to proceed with the program creation.
Step 2 - Coupon settings
Set the value of discount (ex 3PLN)
Define coupon lifetime
Press CREATE to finalise the program creation. A dialog to add the first batch of coupon codes for the program is opened.
Step 3 - Generation of a batch of coupon codes
1. Select “Shared code”
2. Specify the number of coupons with this code you want to create (for ex 100)
3. Fill in the code you need, for ex : “CHRISTMASDAY”
4. Press ADD to finalise
Now you need to launch the program by starting to share the Custom code.
Custom Coupon codes are user-friendly and easy to share with clients within:
- email campaigns
- push notification campaigns
- promotions campaigns on Facebook, etc
