A company with an active customer Wallet can enable Wallet top-up limit for credit cards. This can help to avoid mistakes and unnecessary refunds.
Credit card top-up limit is set:
- on Merchant level
- separately for each currency (this is in case there are several companies in one Merchant that work on different currencies)
To set up customer Wallet top-up limit proceed to the Merchant level of your Brand and access the Merchant you need.
Navigate to sub tab “Wallet” of your Merchant and tap on “ADD LIMIT” button:
Select the currency that is enabled for the Wallet of the company where you need the limit to apply.
Specify the top-up limit that you require, for example 100 EUR and tap ADD LIMIT to finalize the set-up.
Tap on “more items” button in case you need to edit or delete the set top-up limit.
Mind that one can only edit the value of the preset top-up limit. The currency can not be updated.
In case one has selected the wrong currency or the top-up limit is no longer needed, you can delete it.
Should the Wallet top-up exceed the set limit it does not go through. An error message is generated : “Maximum top-up amount is ….”
IMPORTANT:
- wallet top-up limit applies to top-ups with credit cards and via Wallet API. It does not affect top-ups with coupons.
- in case zero is set as top-up limit (default value) this means there is no limit on the sum of the top-up.
Consult the post Customer Wallet for more details on Wallet and its functionality.
