Consult the post Managing driver plans on the options to set automated driver commission charges.

When are driver plan Order and Transaction fees charged

The fees below are charged for successful (FINISHED_PAID) orders:

Fixed Transaction fee (set value)

Dynamic Transaction fee (%)

The fees below are charged for FINISHED_PAID and FINISHED_UNPAID orders:

Fixed Order fee (set value)

Dynamic Order fee (in %)

All the above fees are charged after the order is completed.

None of the above fees are charged for orders cancelled in any status.

How order and transaction fee charges are logged in driver Wallet

If a driver’s plan includes both Dynamic order fee and Fixed order fee, they are logged as 1 transaction in a driver’s Wallet transactions in My hub and app profile.

If a driver’s plan includes both Dynamic transaction fee and Fixed transaction fee, they are also logged as 1 transaction in a driver’s Wallet transactions in My hub and app profile.

If a company needs to refund order/transaction fee to a driver’s Wallet, Dynamic order fee and Fixed order fee as well as Dynamic transaction fee and Fixed transaction fee are refunded as 1 transaction.

Driver commission for trips with discount coupons

Order fee is charged from the trip's Total cost (including coupon value).

Transaction fee is charged from the trip's Final cost (excluding coupon value).

For example, the Total cost of the trip is $10 and the coupon discount is $3.

20% Order fee is calculated from $10 and makes $2. The coupon value ($3) is credited to the driver's balance.

Unless any other extras are added, the Final cost is $10 -$3 = $7. Say, there is also a Dynamic transaction fee of 10%. If the trip is successful, the transaction fee of $0,7 will be charged from $7.

So, total driver commission for this order will be $2 + $0.7 = $2.7

Driver commission for trips with Tips

Tips are included in the Trip final cost. Tips are a driver’s direct earnings for the quality of the service provided, hence, driver commission is not charged for tips.

Driver plan fees are charged from trip Final cost excluding tips.

Driver commission for trips with Additional fee

Order fees are charged excluding the additional fee (the additional fee goes fully to the driver).

Transaction fees are charged including the additional fee (the additional fee goes partially to the driver and partially to the company).

Driver commission for trips with Bonus to drivers

Order fees are charged excluding the bonus (the bonus goes fully to the driver).

Transaction fees are charged including the bonus (the bonus goes partially to the driver and partially to the company).

A Driver’s plans commission charges vs a driver's Services

One driver can be put on one plan at a time and is charged a commission as per his plan configuration, disregarding the combination of services he is allowed to work on. This means that even if a driver accepts orders on a secondary service, his commission charges will always be as per his original plan fees.
