To get started, begin by navigating to the AutoHR tab on the left menu. Here you are able to choose from an onboarding and offboarding automation. To set up an offboarding workflow you will need to select Offboarding Automations which will then show you a drop down tab to your right. From here you will need to click the Select an Automation drop down. Then select Template Offboarding Automation. By doing this, your automation will populate with the pre-built template.

If you would like to amend and update these populated areas, then you will need to select Edit on the top right hand side of your page and amend accordingly.

You have the ability to arrange these steps in any order and to do this you will need to select the arrows to the right of each step. You can also remove steps if needed. Next you can set a trigger date by inserting a number, such as 1 days/weeks/months. This will then trigger a step 1 day/week/month after the creation date, of the automation. Then we can set who this task is assigned to by selecting the relevant person(s). Once your automation template is complete, click Save.

To add an automation to an employee, you will need to navigate to the Automations section of the employee profile, select Add New and select the offboarding automation. Here you will need to set the start date and then save. To amend an assignee, click Edit, chose the relevant person(s), then save again.

Once you have added this automation, the assigned person(s) will receive an email from oneHR once the trigger date has been reached to complete the task.
