The Training Matrix

How to use the training matrix to track employee training and ensure compliance.

The training matrix is a tool on oneHR that allows managers to store records of specific employee training certifications and track renewal dates to ensure compliance is always maintained.

This guide will outline how to record a new training record, and how to track its renewal date.

To begin, navigate to the relevant employee profile. For managers, this can be found in the My Team tab. Next, navigate to Training Matrix within the employee profile sub-menu.

To add a new training record, click Add New.

Give the new training record a title, add a due date of when this training needs to be completed by and if the training has already been completed check the box. If the Completed boxed is checked then you will need to upload a copy the corresponding certificate, then set the renewal date and reminder trigger date. Then click Save.

Once saved, you are still able to view, edit, and delete any existing records.

Once the reminder date is reached, oneHR will send an automated reminder to the Manager assigned to oversee this employee. Please remember to set the reminder date in advance of the renewal date to ensure enough time is schedule the new training.
