Enabling mobile two-factor authentication to receive codes on your phone
Enabling mobile two-factor authentication to receive codes on your phone
Updated over a week ago

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure which involves users providing two different authentication factors to identify themselves. If enabled, it will allow users to receive their login authentication code for oneHR straight to their mobile, as opposed to their email.

To set up mobile 2FA on oneHR, first click on profile in the main left hand side menu.

Next, head to Contact Details in the profile menu. Here you will find the area to input your phone number, next to which are 3 boxes labelled Country, Number, and 2FA.

Enter the country code (+44 for the UK), your mobile number and check the 2FA box. You will notice that, once the 2FA box is checked, β€˜Phone’ will become a required field.

Finally, click update in the top right corner and your mobile 2FA will be enabled.

To disable mobile 2FA and to return to using email, simply uncheck the box and click update.
