What are Analytics?

Analytics are a vital tool for understanding user behaviour and improving your website's performance. In Onepage, you can access two types of analytics:

  1. General Analytics for the entire site.

  2. Advanced Analytics for multi-step forms.

Both tools provide actionable insights to help you make data-driven decisions. Below is a step-by-step guide to utilizing these features effectively.

Activating Analytics in Onepage

Analytics is disabled by default in Onepage for new projects. To enable it:

  1. Go to Settings ➡️ Project Settings ➡️ Integrations in your Onepage dashboard.

  2. Toggle the Onepage Analytics button to activate it.

Once activated, the Analytics tab will appear in your navigation bar, allowing you to access data.

General Analytics for the Entire Site

General Analytics provides an overview of your website's performance.

Key Metrics Available

  • Pageviews: Total number of page visits.

  • Visitors: Number of unique users.

  • Leads: Total form submissions.

  • Conversion Rate: Percentage of visitors who completed desired actions.

You can also adjust the time period for the data displayed and view the results as charts.

Additional Insights

  • Devices (e.g., mobile vs. desktop).

  • Traffic sources (e.g., organic search, social media).

  • Geographic data (countries and cities).

Clearing Data

You can clear all analytics data, but this action is irreversible.

Advanced Analytics for Multi-Step Forms

Advanced Analytics is designed specifically for multi-step forms, helping you analyse user behaviour and identify potential drop-off points.

Accessing Multi-Step Form Analytics

  1. Ensure that general analytics is activated.

  2. Navigate to the form you want to analyse.

  3. Click Edit Form, then select the Results tab.

Features of Multi-Step Form Analytics

Under the Results tab, you’ll find three key sections:

  1. Funnel View

    • See data for each step in your form.

    • Metrics include:

      • Sessions: Number of users interacting with the step.

      • Leads: Number of users completing the step.

      • Conversion Rate: Percentage of users progressing to the next step.

      • Time to Complete: Average time spent on the step.

  2. Insights

    • Analyse trends and patterns in form interactions.

    • Optimize steps with high drop-off rates.

  3. Leads

    • View details of all captured leads, including form submissions and inputs.

Optimizing Multi-Step Forms

To improve form performance, consider the following:

  • Simplify steps with high drop-off rates.

  • Reduce the number of fields in each step.

  • Add progress indicators to motivate users to complete the form.

  • Use clear instructions and error messages.

Integrating with External Tools

For additional insights, you can:

  • Integrate Google Analytics for detailed reporting.

  • Use Zapier to automatically transfer form entries to your CRM or other tools.

Why use Onepage Analytics?

Analytics in Onepage enables you to track website and form performance, helping you optimize for better user experiences and higher conversions. By leveraging these insights, you can:

  • Understand where users drop off.

  • Identify effective strategies for engagement.

  • Enhance both your website and forms to meet user needs.
