We are very pleased to introduce you to the new Forms & Funnels 3.0 update - a new feature that will allow you as a Onepage user to create much more flexible and better forms and funnels in the future than has been the case in the past.
We have been working on this with the development team for almost 12 months and are very proud of the final result.
A large proportion of these functions are available to you immediately and can already be used in full with your current license.
Other functions can be activated for you via the Forms & Funnels add-on, which has been available since 2022 but has been massively expanded as part of this release. But first, let's take a look at the functions in detail so that you can get a better overview.
The Core Difference between old and new Forms
Forms and Quizzes (Multi-step forms) were standalone elements → Now, adding a form element to a regular section automatically turns the entire section into a Form Section.
To create a multi-step form, you had to replace the Form element with a Quiz element → Now, you simply add an extra step — no need to replace anything.
The Quiz element had a fixed layout and settings, restricting customization → Now, you build form steps just like regular sections, placing anything anywhere you want.
Only specific elements like “Cards,” “Text,” and “Video” were supported inside the Quiz element → Now, you can use any element or feature, including highlights, custom layouts, and more.
Plus lot’s of new features and adjustments that were added. This update makes Onepage one of the most flexible no-code form builders out there. Let’s get into the details! 🚀
Deep dive overview of the new update
1. Adding forms in the new version
Forms and multi-step forms are no longer elements (like text, list or an image) but have become section types. To create a form section, add any form field to an existing section (such as select, dropdown, or name field) or start with the template.
You'll then see an "Edit form" button at the top-left of your form section — click it to start editing.
2. Editing a form
To edit a form, click the "Edit form" button at the top left of a section. This opens a separate interface for form modifications. Changes save automatically — no manual saving is needed anymore.
You can now modify layouts, add fields, and edit text directly — just like building a regular page.
Use the slider in the top-right or the sidebar (after clicking “Edit a form”) to navigate through steps if you're working on a multi-step Funnel.
3. Tips on form editing
Because of the new structure, you can benefit from a few things when comparing the old to new Forms.
Forms and Funnels got together
Now they're unified — you can start with a basic form, add steps to transform it into a multi-step form, or remove steps to convert it back to a regular form.
Form Sections
This update brings incredible flexibility and enhanced design capabilities, though it may take some time to get used to.
Turn any section into a form without replacing anything or searching for a specific multi-step form template. Just add a form field, and voilà — you have a form.
Seamlessly integrate forms into regular sections — for example, start with a normal cover section and trigger a multi-step form with a button click (insert example).
Customize form steps freely instead of being limited to classic structures. Build layouts that match your branding and goals (insert example), (insert example).
Create rich, longer step structures by extending a section with extra rows and columns, as shown in the example below (insert example).
4. Using new form elements
We've added a bunch of new form elements — some of which are available in higher Forms & Funnels add-on tiers, but most can be used for free:
Name → Now supports a horizontal layout and an optional Middle Name field.
Address → Includes country, region, zip code, and street — perfect for industries that need detailed location info.
Range Slider → New visual options and the ability to select number ranges.
Clickable Number Input → Great for funnels, but shines in single-step lead forms.
Chips → An alternative to taglines with better layout options.
Radio Buttons → The good old classic option selection.
Opinion Scale → Choose between numbers, emojis, or icons—we’ve got you covered.
ReCaptcha → Protects your forms from spam submissions.
Consent Checkbox → An upgraded checkbox that can be placed on any step.
Date and Time Picker → Easily enable appointment booking. (Calendar sync is in progress!)
Date Range Picker → Select a start and end date with ease.
Loader → Simulates loading or searching within funnels or upon form submission.
5. Enhanced logic rules and conditions
We've made a set of adjustments to logic branches and conditions, especially for new elements.
Let’s review the changes using the "Select" field as an example. You can now set these conditions:
If a certain choice was selected
If multiple certain choices were selected
If any option was selected
If none of the options were selected
If a certain option wasn't selected
Each field now includes these expanded logic options, giving you nearly limitless ways to customize and tailor your form’s experience.
With our broader set of form elements, we’ve also introduced new logic rules, allowing you to create precise step combinations to better achieve your goals. 🚀
6. Using Funnel view and analytics insights
Let's take our website as an example, specifically from November 25th when we promoted early-access to the Forms & Funnels add-on
You can now analyze each logic branch separately. Simply select the steps in a branch to view its conversions, visits, and drop-offs in isolation.
Speaking of insights, every new field is integrated in a new, great looking “Insights” tab, where you can preview particular steps and questions while checking your analytics
Our new UI smoothly handles unlimited tracking steps. We drew inspiration from industry leaders like Mixpanel and Google Analytics.
The system now loads three times faster and delivers improved accuracy thanks to our team's extensive work rebuilding the engine.
