A Google-Analytics-Tag is a JavaScript-snippet that captures data and then sends it to Google Analytics.

  1. Log in to your Google Analytics account.

  2. Go to Administration.

  3. Go to the part of the menu that says ACCOUNT and choose an account.

  4. Go to PROPERTY and choose a property from the menu.

  5. Stay in Property and go to Tracking- information; Tracking-Code. Your Google Analytics ID is displayed at the top of the site.
