The project title, page title, internal domain, and home page help you to organize your project clearly, name pages clearly, and structure your homepage correctly. This allows you to define them optimally for your project.

Project title: Name of the project

Page title: Name of the page

Internal domain: Internal web address of the project

Homepage: The default page that is displayed first when your domain is accessed.

Change the project title

Step 1: Open project settings

Click on "Settings" in the project overview.

Step 2: Change the project title

Change the name of the project in the "General" tab under "Project title".

Step 3: Save the changes

Then click on the blue “Save” button.

Change the page title

Step 1: Open Page settings

Go to Settings on your desired page.

Step 2: Customize page title

Adjust the page title in the “Page settings” tab under “Page title.” If this also changes the page address, you can adjust it as well if necessary.

⚠️ Important: If you do not assign a meta title, the page title will be displayed publicly and appear in the browser tab.

If you add a meta title, it will take precedence and be used as the publicly visible title of your page. In this case, the page title will only be used for internal purposes.

Change the internal domain

Step 1: Open domain settings

Click on "Settings" in the project overview.

Step 2: Change the internal domain

Switch to the "Domain settings" tab. There you can change the name of your internal domain by clicking on the three dots and then on "Edit".

⚠️ Important: Please use lowercase letters only. The internal domain will not be saved if you enter uppercase letters.

📌 Please note: If desired, you have the option of connecting your own domain to Onepage. For more information, see this article.

Set a homepage

A homepage is the main page of a website, which is usually displayed when the domain name of the website is entered without any additional paths or extensions.

If your homepage has an additional name after the / and you want to change this, there are two ways to do so in Onepage.

Option 1: Select homepage

In the project overview, go to Settings, then GeneralHomepage. Select the desired page as the homepage from the drop-down menu and click "Save".

Option 2: Change page address

Go to your desired start page, then go to SettingsPage settings and delete everything after the / in the page address. If only a / remains, Onepage will automatically recognise the page as the homepage.
