If you want to build a landing page with a menu structure, subpages can be a powerful tool that can provide additional information.

These can be variations of your landing page that aren’t linked to one another, or they can be subpages containing information such as an imprint, privacy policy, or a “Thank You” message.

Anything you want to link to your main page can be created in a subpage and can be connected to it via a link or modal box.

🎬 At the end of the article, you'll find our video tutorial!

Step 1: Log into your project

Step 2: Click on “Create”

Step 3: Choose a template or start from scratch

You can either create a completely empty page or use a template.

Onepage offers a variety of prebuilt templates. Besides, you have the option to use your personal templates.

📌 Please note: If you need a privacy policy or imprint template, you can find them in the "internal pages" section. Please keep in mind that Onepage does not provide legal advice, so the text in the templates is only a placeholder.

Step 4: Select a name for your subpage

Select a name and a URL for the new subpage and click on “Choose this template” or “Create a page” to create a template.

Step 5: Adjust it to your liking

Step 6: Publish your subpage

After you’ve published your site, a window containing its link will appear. Click on it to review how it looks live.

Step 7: Link your subpage

Copy the link to your subpage and paste it in the main site by creating a CTA button, menu or a footer on your main page.

Basically, you can provide the URL, wherever you see this field:

Here are some examples. Click on each of them to see additional information.

CTA Button

If you want to create a CTA button, just click on the button and then choose the option “Link to”.

FAQ:

Does Onepage provide the text for a privacy policy?

No, Onepage does not offer legal advice. We recommend contacting an expert in the privacy field or using a privacy policy generator. For example eRecht24.

Is it possible for Onepage to automatically select the language of my page?

No, Onepage does not currently offer this option. The visitors will see the language, which was set up for the specific URL.

I have pasted the URL in a button, but it is not visible in the live page.

For the changes to apply in the live page, make sure to click "Update".

Why dies the URL in the button lead to the wrong URL?

You can set the links both for the whole section and specific element. If you do this, the section link will always override the specific button. Simply delete the link of the whole section.
