With the Lightspeed Menu Sync, you ensure that your administration and menu are always aligned. What does it mean? The sync links products and add-ons so that you only need to make changes in Lightspeed.

How does it work?
In the settings under integrations, activate the Menu Sync under the section Lightspeed K-Series. Then click "save" and make sure all other information is completed. Note: The sync will not be performed immediately after this. First, follow the steps below. Only click "synchronize" once everything is set up correctly.
Step 1: Check the menu, categories & subcategories
In the settings under integrations, first select which menu, categories, and subcategories from Lightspeed should be copied to Onesix.
You don’t want to select categories like “Discounts” because these should not be visible on the Kiosk.
Step 2: Check items & sub-items in Lightspeed
Make sure the structure in Lightspeed matches exactly how our sync function works. You need to create all products as items in Lightspeed, and all add-ons as sub-items.
Step 3: Check all surcharges and deposits
Double-check in Lightspeed that your surcharges and deposit fees are created as sub-items. It’s also important that the word surcharge or deposit is actually the name of the sub-item. Otherwise, our system won’t recognize it as a surcharge but will treat it as a regular add-on.
Step 4: Already have a menu in Onesix? Check the PLU codes
Is your menu already live in Onesix but you're not yet using the sync feature? Make sure the PLU codes from Lightspeed match the Binding IDs in Onesix.
You can easily check this via Products -> Overview. There, you'll find a complete list of your products and add-ons. Click on the gear icon and make sure the “Binding ID” is visible in the right column.
Step 5: Check the upselling in Lightspeed
Lastly, it's important to review how upselling is set up in Lightspeed. Upselling is synced one-to-one from Onesix.
For example, if you’ve added a drink upsell to a product in Onesix but haven’t set it up yet in Lightspeed, make sure to add it there first!
Step 6: Synchronize!
Is everything set up correctly? Then you can click "Sync now" either at the top under Products or in your settings.
You’ll immediately see which products and add-ons are being linked. Any changes you make in Lightspeed from now on will also be updated in Onesix.
FAQ
What gets synced?
All items and sub-items in Lightspeed are linked to Onesix using the same Binding ID.
If Lightspeed has an item or sub-item in a category that doesn’t yet exist in Onesix, it will automatically be added to Onesix.
How do I know if something is synced?
Products/add-ons that are linked will display the label "Linked to __".
If you don’t see this label, the products are not connected.
How do I link products?
It’s very simple. Just make sure that the PLU code in Lightspeed matches the Binding ID in Onesix. Note: A product in Lightspeed can only be linked to one product in Onesix at a time—not to multiple.
How often does syncing happen?
You can sync manually using the "Sync now" button on the product page.
In addition, an automatic sync takes place every morning at 6:00 AM.
How do I add a surcharge/deposit to a product?
Make sure you’ve created the surcharge or deposit as a sub-item in Lightspeed. Then, in Lightspeed, link that sub-item to the corresponding product. Once this is done, the surcharge will also be automatically linked in Onesix.
