Manage your fields to get a better overall picture and navigate with more ease.

🌱 How to compare fields

  • Comparison of NDVI and satellite imagery

By comparing NDVI and satellite imagery, you can get a more comprehensive picture of what's happening in the field. To do this, go to the 'Status' page and open the preview mode. Then, click the split view on the right side of the screen.

  • Tracking NDVI changes over a specific period

The chart on the field's 'Status' page that shows changes in NDVI will help assess how the field has developed after a specific operation or throughout the entire season. Select the relevant field and set the period to view data for. The app will then generate a chart illustrating the changes in NDVI over that time.

  • Comparison of uploaded data layers

Want to make the best use of yield maps, as-applied maps, or soil tests? Upload them to the web platform to visualize and analyze them! To do this, click 'Upload Data' in the left-side menu and choose the type of data you want to upload.

You can view the uploaded files in the 'Data' tab.

Select the data you want to visualize or compare, click the split view icon on the right side of the screen, and voilà! Now you can compare anything and everything you like!

💡 Users of the OneSoil app's Pro version can also compare all data layers with productivity maps, prescription maps, soil brightness maps, and elevation. If you do VRA trials using the Pro version, you can compare the prescription map and the yield map post-harvest to understand how variable-rate application affected productivity.

The app currently has no specific feature that allows you to compare different fields.

✊ How to group fields

Use groups of fields and combine fields based on any parameter that you like: by crops, location, the agronomists responsible for them, or any other criteria. Fields added to a group (folder) are only accessible from this folder and are not displayed in the general list of 'Fields and VRA maps' tab. Inside each folder, you can also create as many subfolders as you need. This will allow you to build the most convenient structure for managing information about your farm.

You can make the field list setup more convenient by grouping fields within the list by crop or prescription type. To do this, click the 'Sort' button and adjust the toggle switch.

In the mobile app, swipe up on the list of fields and find the list settings. Click the 'Group by crop' toggle switch, and you're done!

🌗 How to sort fields

You can sort fields by crop, name, average NDVI, yield, planting date, and harvest date in the 'Fields' tab in the mobile or web app.

Pro version users can also filter fields based on area, percentage of zone stability, prescription map types and uploaded data, and so on.

🤝 How to share a field

If you're working in the app with colleagues or clients and it's important to have access to the same information, we recommend setting up multi-access mode. Depending on the role, users will be able to add, delete, edit, or simply view data within the same workspace. You can find more details about all settings in this article.

The OneSoil Scouting mobile app allows you to share fields and notes with other users, even if they are not registered in the app. They will be able to view the information but won't be able to edit it. To share a field, select the desired field in the list and tap the 'Share Field' button.
