To set the background map type in the mobile app, tap the layers icon in the upper-right corner.

If you want to see the boundaries of fields that haven't been added to your account, tap the layer icon in the upper-right corner and change the toggle to 'Show other fields' boundaries'.

You can set the background map type in the mobile app to show a satellite image or roads. The background map in the web app is only available in 'Satellite' mode.

If the background map looks outdated, it won't affect NDVI updates. You can learn more about the background maps we use in this article.
