Meeting templates

Use meeting templates to run different meeting types with different structures. Set organizational defaults, and change templates on a meeting-by-meeting basis.

Overview

Meeting templates mean you can run different meeting types (e.g., 1:1s, PIPs, coaching/developmental 1:1s), and customize the structure of each meeting. This includes the order widgets (the different elements of the meeting) appear in, as well as the agenda set.

Templates allow you to:

  1. Add fee-text custom questions

  2. Add or remove widget types (e.g., remove Ratios from the meeting)

  3. Change the order of widgets (e.g., start the meeting with 3 custom questions)

  4. Specify a default template to be used across the organization

  5. Change the template on a meeting-by-meeting basis

  6. Add agendas per meeting template, so that you can run different meetings with different agendas

Create meeting templates

🔐 Permissions required: Manage meeting templates

  1. Head to Platform settings, then Coach.

Note: platform settings is found under the manage icon. This is in the main navigation menu, next to your profile picture or initials.

  2. In the templates & agendas area, either add a new template using the +Add template button, or, duplicate the existing 1:1 (by OneUp) template, using the copy icon.

  3. Then, give your template a name and then, select the edit icon.

  4. On the left, set an agenda for this meeting type. For example, for a weekly 1:1 meeting template, the agenda might look something like the below:

💡 Remember, you can always add or remove bespoke agenda items in the meeting itself.

  5. On the right, choose widget types to add, or add custom questions.

    • Widget types include: agenda, ratios, notes, targets, Job Pipeline & actions: all the different elements that make up a meeting in OneUp.

    • Custom questions are bespoke free-text questions, that allow a free-text response within meetings. Write your question.

  6. Choose your desired order.

Drag and drop the different widgets to specify the order you'd like the elements to appear in the meeting.

  7. Save.

Set an organization default template

In the platform settings > Coach > Templates & Agendas area, the first template listed will be your organization's default. This is the template listed by default when creating new meetings.

You can still change templates on a meeting-by-meeting basis, when creating a new meeting, or editing an existing one.
