Overview
This guide applies to both Microsoft Teams Phone for VoIP calls, and Microsoft Teams for video call data only.
Connect Microsoft Teams to OneUp using your Microsoft account. You'll be asked to sign in to Microsoft and approve access to your data.
🔒 You'll need a Microsoft account with permission to connect integrations.
Additional Microsoft Teams configuration
To allow OneUp to identify users correctly, you may need to update a reporting setting in Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
Open Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
Go to Settings → Org Settings → Services.
Select Reports.
Uncheck:
Display concealed user, group, and site names in all reports
Save your changes.
📌 If this setting remains enabled, Microsoft will hide user information in reporting data and OneUp won't be able to identify your users correctly.
What next?
Choose the option that applies to you:
If you're onboarding with an Implementation Engineer, you'll receive a connection link after your first call with us. They'll also ask you to complete the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre steps above.
If you're using our self-serve setup flow, you'll be prompted to connect Microsoft Teams after selecting it from the list of available integrations. You'll also need to complete the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre steps above.
If you're reconnecting an existing integration, check that the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre setting above is already configured, then follow the steps below.

Users will be identified correctly once the reporting setting above has been updated.

The new connection will replace the existing one.
My connection failed
Make sure you've approved all permissions requested by Microsoft during the connection process. If the issue persists, try connecting again.

Follow the Microsoft 365 Admin Centre setting steps above to allow OneUp to identify your users correctly.
My data isn't appearing in OneUp
The initial sync can take some time to complete. If the integration shows as connected but no data has appeared after 24 hours, contact our Support team.
