How do I change the currency my metrics are displayed in?

Overview

If your company works in a certain currency, we have settings on the platform that enable you to view your monetary metrics in a range of different ways. We currently support the following currencies (the conversion rates are also updated daily!):

  • AED

  • AUD

  • CAD

  • CHF

  • CNY

  • EGP

  • EUR

  • GBP

  • HKD

  • INR

  • JPY

  • NZD

  • SEK

  • SGD

  • USD

  • ZAR

Changing the company currency

If your entire business works in a single currency, or prefers to see figures in a particular currency, you can follow these steps.

To change the default company currency, you need to have admin privileges.

  1. From any page in OneUp, click your profile picture in the top right.

  2. From the menu that appears, click Settings. On the next page, click make sure General is selected under Organisation Settings.

  3. On the next screen, you'll see a dropdown labelled Currency. Change the currency to the one you prefer for the whole business.

Users will need to refresh their browser before being able to view OneUp in the updated currency.

Changing currency per-user

If your business is made up of many teams across the world, you may want to give specific users or teams the ability to view OneUp in a currency of their choice. Here's how to do it.

The user currency setting will override any company currency setting. If a user's currency is set to default, the company currency will be used instead.

  1. From any page in OneUp, click your profile picture in the top right.

  2. From the menu that appears, click Profile. On the next page, click Edit Profile.

  3. On the new page, make sure General is selected under User Settings.

  4. On this screen, you'll see a dropdown labelled Currency. Change the currency to the one you prefer for yourself.

By default, admin users have the ability to alter other users' currency settings.

Troubleshooting ✨

I'm not seeing certain metrics change currency

If you have altered your currency setting, and the currency your metrics are in hasn't changed after refreshing your webpage, your metrics may be configured as 'fixed currency' metrics. Reach out to our support team to learn more about this.

The metrics on my computer have changed currency, but metrics on the TV haven't

If you operate multiple TVs in different worldwide offices (for example one in the UK and one in the US), to update the TV's currency, you will need to contact us - we'll be happy to make the change for you!
