Overview
On OneUp, there are three primary types of user: Admin, Users and Observers
Admins are able to configure and edit areas of the platform like targets, metrics and reports.
Users are typically regular consultants - by default, they don't have the ability to edit or configure areas of the platform like admins can.
Observer accounts are not billed, but their CRM data is not pulled through. Typically this is used for staff/managers who don't bill but do manage consultants.
By default, Observers do not have admin privileges. You need to manually assign them the admin role if they require it - you can follow the steps below for this
Assigning user roles
If you need to change the role of a user, for example setting a regular User to an Admin, you can follow the below steps:
Click the Manage menu button in the nav bar and select Users from the dropdown
Find the user you'd like to edit and click on the dropdown under the Roles heading. From here, select the roles you want this user to have
Changing user types
Alternatively, you may want to change the users type from Full User to Observer or vice versa. You can follow the below steps to achieve this:
Click the Manage menu button in the nav bar and select Users from the dropdown
To make a Full User an Observer, click the three dots to the right of the user's name. Then, select Convert to Observer.
Click Confirm to confirm your changes.
4. To make an Observer a Full User, complete the same steps above, but select Convert to Full User, and then Confirm.
Account type is independent of a user's Role, meaning an Admin can be a Full User (if they require any CRM data) or an Observer (if they don't bill but do require access to the platform).
Deleting users
Click the Manage menu button in the nav bar and select Users from the dropdown
Find the user you'd like to delete in the Users page and click the red delete/bin icon to the right of the page. Click Confirm to confirm the deletion of the user
