This article guides you through how you can use OneUp to understand your performance, hit your targets and stay motivated at work. Watch the video at the bottom of this page to learn about the relevant areas on the platform.

πŸ“ˆ Track your own performance

Your OneUp Dashboard gives you instant access to a live feed of the activities you have logged in your CRM. With this information and the targets that your manager adds to the system, OneUp creates visual target dials to help you easily understand how you are currently performing against what's expected of you.

This helps you determine what you need to focus on or improve in order to hit your targets! We recommend that sales people log into their OneUp Dashboard at the beginning of each day to prioritise their workload for the day or week ahead - work smarter, not harder! It's an effective way to help you perform at your best. By keeping up to date on your performance stats inside OneUp, there should be no more surprises in team meetings or 1-2-1s as you always know exactly where you stand. Take charge of your own performance!

πŸ’ͺ🏻 Develop your skills

With better visibility of your performance over time, it's now much easier to understand what you're good at and where you can still develop your skills.

View the trends in your performance over several weeks or months by using the Analytics Window (the little purple 'Analytics' button that appears when you hover over your numbers). This feature will help you monitor your strengths and weaknesses. Ask your manager or colleagues for advice on better techniques or more streamlined processes in order to see the positive changes you're after.

P.S. This not only helps you get better at your job but also shows a high level of initiative and drive to improve which can make you stand out in a team! 😊

πŸ‘€ Make sure your hard work gets seen

The mantra to live by is: "If it's not on OneUp, it hasn't happened!"

Only by following proper processes and being consistent when logging your activity in your CRM will you ensure that your numbers are accurate on OneUp! If your numbers aren't an accurate reflection of your hard work, this may be something your manager pulls you up on. Be sure that they see a true reflection of the graft you're putting in!

Use your Dashboard and the data insights window to remind yourself of any activities that you might not have logged yet or that you have perhaps logged half heartedly. Then, go back to your CRM and make sure everything is entered correctly. This will ensures that you get the acknowledgement you deserve!

πŸ† Stay motivated

What motivates you in your day to day? Is it a bit of healthy competition with your colleagues or do you enjoy the feeling of working collaboratively with your team to hit your goals?

OneUp makes it easy for your manager to run great competitions and incentives to keep you motivated and enjoying the daily grind (especially on tough days when you may need that extra bit of motivation). If you feel like you're craving more games and incentives within your team, ask your manager to set one up for week and I'm sure they'll see how much it bumps the energy and performance levels in the team.

While these types of incentives need to be set up by your managers, you can also take the initiative to bring a bit of fun and competition into the office yourself by challenging one of your colleagues to a head to head battle!

For example, on a Friday afternoon you could challenge a friend to see who can do the most BD calls by the end of the day - the loser buys the beers! It naturally helps you pick up the pace when you may be lagging a little and you'll definitely have some fun at the same time!
