Triggers are set up to automatically go off when the conditions they are set up with are achieved. If the team wasn't there to celebrate you can replay the trigger through the Triggers Log, but if the trigger conditions haven't been met (for example, if the performance date is in the past) then you can use manual data to manually fire a trigger.

Firstly, make sure the record is showing on the platform - if you can't see the record on the platform you can use this article to run through some troubleshooting.

  1. First click on Automate in the navigation bar, then select Triggers to examine the trigger's designated metric and condition(s).

  2. Take note of the metric and amount that the trigger is linked to, this will be important in the next step.

  3. Once you've made note of that, click on the 3 dots in the top right of the platform and select Report Activity. From this page, first select the user you would like the trigger to go off for at the top right. Ensure that the date is today's date. Now, select the metric you took note of in the last step, it is important that this metric matches the metric for the trigger you are manually firing. Once that is selected, input a value to increase that metric by (again, make sure this value matches or is above the value that the trigger is set up with). Lastly, hit Submit Report!

Your trigger should now play on the slideshow!

As the final step, you will want to remove the data you manually added so it does not alter figures. Go to Settings, then Platform Data. From here, ensure that the date range is today's date, and click Fetch Records. Find the manual data you just added to fire the trigger, and click on the red 'x' button on the right side of the column to remove it.
