A Flight Reservation (also referred to as Flight Itinerary or Onward Ticket) is a document that contains comprehensive details about the concerned flight: including airline, departure and arrival times and dates, flight number, airport IATA codes for both departures and arrivals and the Flight Reservation numbers.

Additionally, it carries a valid and unique PNR (Passenger Name Record) number. It serves to provide satisfactory evidence of proof of intended onward travel when required, though it should be noted that this is not an actual ticket and cannot be utilized as such.
