In this article, you will find out how to complete tasks that have been assigned to you by your organization.
Task View
After going "On Duty" with your organization, tasks that have been assigned to you will be populated into your app. You may choose to view these tasks in a list or in a map view. Toggle the icon in the upper right to switch between these views.
Getting tasks
Assigned tasks are shown in both the driver's task list and task map views.
Tasks must be assigned to drivers by dispatchers; if there are no tasks shown in the task view, then that indicates that no new tasks have been assigned to the driver by dispatchers for that organization.
Drivers should contact their dispatchers directly for task assignment-related questions since Onfleet does not assign tasks to drivers. For questions related to staffing, route assignments, or delivery destinations, drivers should also contact their dispatcher or employer’s delivery operations team. The quickest way to reach your dispatcher is often through the chat function within the Onfleet Driver app.
If additional contact methods such as a phone number or email have been provided by your employer, those can also be used.
Contacting Your Dispatcher
When you have questions about staffing, route assignments, or delivery-related issues, it’s important to know who to contact. Below is a guide to help you understand the appropriate point of contact for these concerns.
How to Reach Your Dispatcher
Onfleet Driver App: Use the chat function within the app to message your dispatch team directly. This is often the quickest way to get in touch.
Other Contact Methods: If your employer has provided additional contact information, such as a phone number or email, use those channels as needed.
Understanding Onfleet’s Role
Onfleet builds and supports the Onfleet Driver app, but it does not manage staffing, route assignments, or delivery-specific operational details. If you have questions or issues related to these topics, Onfleet Support will not be able to assist you. Instead, always reach out to your employer or dispatcher for guidance.
