How to Set Up the "One Time Purchase" Option for Bundles in Ongoing

Introduction
The "One Time Purchase" option allows you to offer your customers the flexibility to purchase a bundle as a one-time payment, in addition to the subscription model. This feature is currently in Beta mode, and you can easily enable it for your product bundles. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to set it up.


Steps to Set Up the "One Time Purchase" Option:

  1. Log in to the Ongoing App

    • Open the Ongoing Subscriptions app in your Shopify store.

  2. Navigate to Product Bundles

    • In the Ongoing app dashboard, go to the "Product Bundles" section.

  3. Edit Your Bundle

    • Find the bundle you want to edit and click "Edit Bundle" next to it.

  4. Enable the Purchase Type

    • Scroll down to the section titled "Available Purchase Types."

    • You’ll see a dropdown or selection options. Select "Subscription and One Time Purchase."

  5. Save Your Changes

    • After selecting the purchase types, click "Save" to apply the changes to your bundle.


Important Notes

  • The One Time Purchase option is currently in Beta. We’re actively improving it, so feedback is welcome!

  • Customers will see both options at checkout: they can either subscribe or make a one-time purchase.

  • You can return to Available Purchase Types anytime to update your bundle options.
