Here is how to create a free shipping discount code on Shopify.
Customers who are eligible for the discount can enter the discount code while checking out, and then free shipping is applied to their order.
This is useful if you only want to offer free shipping sometimes during a flash sale.
On Shopify Admin:
Step 1: Click Discount Codes
Step 2: Create a "Discount Code" on the Shopify admin dashboard and click "all subscription products" for the Purchase Type. Make sure to select preferred Usage Limits like limit to first payment, or apply to all future payments.
Step 3: Include the Discount code in your product description or as a store-wide announcement banner.
