If you are seeing the message that a customer's card was declined due to "Shop Pay wallet is not enabled for payment" this means your shop does not have SHOP PAY enabled.

Issue: Your customer paid for their subscription using SHOP PAY, but since SHOP PAY is not enabled on your store as a form of payment, Shopify is declining the payment method.

Will Ongoing automatically re-bill my subscribers?

Yes, Ongoing will try to capture the payment again for their active subscription.

Yes, once you activate Shop Pay, Ongoing will attempt to re-bill all your customers again who had failed billing.

As long as your customer has only had their payment declined less than 3x, we will automatically try to re-bill them.

How to reactivate subscriptions that reached max billing attempts

Ongoing > Subscriptions > Failed Billing > See a list of customers with payment declined 3x or more.

These customers will have a status of failed billing and will no longer be billed automatically by Ongoing, because they've reached the max billing attempts.

If you'd like to start charging them again, you can activate recurring billing by changing subscription status to Active.
