Expired Payment Method means that the card on file for their subscription has expired and is no longer valid.

If the customer wants to continue their subscription, they need to:

2) Update their payment method associated with the subscription

3) Wait a day or two to see if Ongoing automatically bills the customer

Ongoing will automatically retry to bill the customer for their subscription if they are within the window of 3 days (we retry billing for 3 days in a row).

If the new update they made is valid, it'll successfully charge them and create a recurring order, and the subscription will continue like normal!

NOTE: If the customer is outside the 3 day window and their account status is FAILED this means that Ongoing has tried to bill them 3x in a row, and their card has been declined 3x in a row. In that case, the customer will need to update their payment method & then click "reactivate" subscription to get the billing going again.
