Yes the Shopify app, called Ongoing™️ Subscriptions works for Shops based in Israel.
Currently Shopify only allows merchants to use 4 specific payment gateways in order to be eligible to sell subscription products on their Shopify store.
However, out of the 4 payment gateways for Shopify subscriptions, currently only PAYPAL EXPRESS is available in Israel.
Shopify stores based in Israel that would like to sell subscriptions would need to add PayPal Express as their payment gateway.
This would then allow their customers to checkout with PayPal Express on the Shopify checkout page.
