If your course and qualification requires you to have a Workplace Assessor they will need to meet certain criteria be to able to mentor, guide and assess you throughout.
Fully qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years - this means they must have the licence to practice which is obtained with a Diploma
Have an up to date CV
Have an up to date CPD
A good background in early years settings
Be a senior member of staff with some form of mentoring others - such as a room leader or manager
The ability to undergo 3 standardisation sessions (these last up to 1 hour each and are all completed online)
The ability to observe your practice in the workplace for 4 activities (these will take around 90 minutes each)
