When families log into the jmc Family portal, greet them with a personalized message from you! Use your message to provide clear instructions that guide families through the online registration process, and also include informative reminders about upcoming school events and closures, as well as important end-of-the-school-year announcements. You can also include links to school resources such as Free and Reduced Forms, extra-curricular information, and school board minutes, so families have access to important information at their fingertips. By providing them with this information upfront, you can help keep the families in your district informed about what's happening at the school.
Log into jmc Office at the district level and head to jmc Family > District Login Message to update the message displayed in jmc Family.
Step One: Select the correct school year using the "Switch Year" drop-down list to make changes to your message for the new school year.
Step Two: Enter a message in the comment field to display on the jmc Family homepage, greeting families as they log into jmc.
Fun Fact: Add a little pizzazz to your message using the formatting tools. Customize the font, weight, size, the sky's the limit! Even insert a link by using the globe icon.
Step Three: Click the "Save" button to make your message viewable to families.
