Personalize the jmc Family portal message

Set the tone for family communication with the district login message in jmc. Greet families with a custom message each time they log into the jmc Family portal. Share clear instructions for online registration, reminders about upcoming events or school closures, and important end-of-year announcements—all right on the login screen. You can even include links to key resources like free and reduced meal forms, extracurricular details, and school board minutes to keep families informed and connected to everything happening at your school.

Log into jmc Office at the district level and head to jmc Family > District Login Message to update the message displayed in jmc Family.

Step One: Enter a message in the text box to display on the jmc Family homepage, greeting families as they log into the jmc Family portal.

Helpful Tip: Add a little pizzazz to your message using the formatting tools. Customize the font, weight, size, the sky's the limit! Even insert a link by using the globe icon.

Step Two: Click the "Save" button to make your message viewable to families.

Fun Fact: The district login message is tied to the school year selected in jmc, so consider adding year-specific instructions to guide families—like reminding them to select the upcoming school year from the login drop-down once the current year ends. For example: The school year has ended. Please select the upcoming year from the login drop-down to view current info in jmc Family.
