Stay connected and receive important communication from your student's school by keeping your contact information up to date.

In the jmc Family portal, easily update your family's contact information in one convenient location. Whether you've recently moved, changed your cell phone number, or added an email address, you can quickly enter or edit your name, address, email address, phone numbers, and more. By keeping your contact information current, you can have peace of mind knowing that you'll stay informed and won't miss any crucial communication from your student's school.


In jmc Family head to Contact Information in the menu tree to update your contact information.

Step One: Enter your information in the appropriate fields to ensure that your contact details are up to date and accurate.

Helpful Tip: If you are a married couple, enter both of your first names in the "First Name" field (For example "Sandy & Ron") so mailings will be addressed to both of you.

Step Two: Enter a phone number in the "Phone 1" field to guarantee that you can be contacted by the school.

Helpful Tip: To help the office identify the owner of the phone number, please enter a description (e.g., "Dad's Cell") in the "Description" field. This will provide additional context and clarity regarding the contact information you provide.


โ€‹Step Three: Select the appropriate type of phone number from the options provided (e.g., "cell", "work", "home", "fax", or "unlisted") to make sure that the school maintains accurate and up-to-date records of your contact information.

Fun Fact: Correctly identifying a phone number as a cell phone is crucial as it enables the number to receive SMS (text messages). By designating a number as a cell phone, you can be confident that you will receive important text messages and stay informed with relevant information from the school.


โ€‹Step Four: Place a checkmark in the checkbox(es) next to the types of messages you would like to receive on this phone number:

  • SMS (Text Message)

  • Emergency/Weather Related

  • Student/Lunch Related

  • General School Information

Step Five: Enter any additional information or comments in the "Comments" field to communicate any specific details or requests regarding your contact changes that you would like to bring to the attention of the school staff.

Step Six: Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page to update your contact information or navigate away from the page to discard your changes.

Fun Fact: Associate up to eight email addresses and eight phone numbers with a contact, providing multiple points of contact including work and personal email addresses and phone numbers. This maximizes the chances of receiving important school-related communications and guarantees that you are notified through various channels.
